I take my pills correctly, on time... No
interferences.... Blah blah blah.....
This morning I started day 1 of my sugar
pills.. I know i'm still protected.. But
am I as protected as I was during the
birth control pill weeks? Or is it less?
Also, I had a realy upset stomache this
morning... Linked with very little and
mild dihareah (sp) sorry... Lol anywho..
I know that can lower the efectiveness....
So i'm kind of worried...
I was with my boyfriend today and yada
yada yada....
Should I be okay? Or worried?

you are fine. If you are ever concerned
about the possibility of birth control
failure, use a back up method. Pregnancy
does not occur during the sugar pill week
or there would be a very lot of birth
control babies out there!!

Thanksss for the re-assurance...
We do use back up methods... We always
use condoms, but there are times before we
have sex, where he comes in contact with
me with no condom on, and it just worries
me... Usually i'm not worried as much
anymore, cause i'm learning to trust the
pill more... But its the odd time (like
my stomach being upset) where I start to
panic again...
But thank you again

Din't worry about having an upset stomach
and diarreah during the sugar pill week,
especially since you don't technically
have to take those pills; they are just
reminders to keep you in the habit of
taking pills. I personally don't take
them. They have no horomones in them at
all, just sugar, thus why they're called
sugar and/or placebo pills.
