Feeling Depressed At Night Can Anyone Help?
Posted: 09-05-06 16:00pm

Hello,

i dunno if anyone can help me but the past 3-4 nights ive been going to bed ive just been feeling really depressed. When I was laying in bed last night I broke down into tears then I started to feel pain in my whole body and everything felt like it was going really slow. I called my boyfriend and talked to him for a while.

I start school tomrrow going into grade 11 2nd year at my high school. Im really happy with my family I have really nice friends but the most amazing and important person in my whole life is my boyfriend we have been together for 9 months and we had a few tough times but everything got sorted out and we are really happy together now. I used to cut myself in grade 9 and a little bit of grade 10 but my boyfriend kyle was there for me and helped me I havent cut since about feb. 2006. I have just recently got a job and its been going alright I would rather have a differnt job but im going to stick with this one for a little while longer. I've been a really happy girl until recently and I dont know why it has been going downhill for the last 3-4 days. Im always happy when im around my boyfriend. But when it comes to the time when I get to bed im just feeling really depressed.

Can anyone maybe help me out and give me some advice?

Thanks to anyone who can give me some advice.

3--4 months? Try 4--7 years of depression. Whiner. Try cutting your self almost every day. Try tring to kill yourself 6 times in 2 years! Then you can post about your pain.

Ps. I feel the same pain too sometimes.

Try throwing in some dance music and dance at night. I did that for a while and it really helped. I guess it was the exercise. Also, get yourself a theme song for those nights you feel down in the dumps. It's weird, but whenever I feel down...It seems like whatever station i'm listening to plays girl in the middle or whatever it's called by jimmy eats world. It's become my "things could get better just maybe" song.

I May Know How to Help..
Posted: 09-09-06 01:27am

Hey. I have had the same problems sometimes. Think about your life, and who you interact with everyday. Maybe it's a problem with your family and you just don't want to admit it.

I used to feel that way because of my boyfriend. We are still dating, and he is such a sweet and sensitive guy. Sometimes it bothered me because he wasn't 'the best looking guy' but he was too nice to break up with, i'd feel horrible.

Maybe you are feeling depressed for a reason you thought might be small, or not noticable, you just need to look closely and find out, just like I did. I learned to get over the fact that my boyfriend isn't the best looking guy, and I could do better, but he is the sweetest in the world and I know I want to stay with him longer.

Good luck and I hope this helps a little!

It dsont have anything to do with my family. It dosnt have anything to do with my boyfriend he is the most sweetest guy and everything he said he would be here me for everything that im feeling when im depressed so it dosnt have anything to do with him at all. I just have some regrets in life but I dont think about it when im depressed it just ramdomly happenends most of the time I wont think of anything at all when im depressed. I had a bad dream the other night and I had cut myself in my dream prettty bad I cried about it last night to my boyfriend but he was there to hold me and made me feel better <3. Im probably going to go to the doctor with him really soon so I can tell my doctor whats going on because im having a hard tim telling my parents.

If you can let me know anything or have anymore advice please reply back

thanks fore responding jody.

Hey,
its all going to be ok, the best thing you can do for yourself is to speak to professional about how you feel, this will help because you can tell them how you feel and they will be able to explain maybe why you feel this way. I have been through depression for a few years and it was hard, the doctors put me on meds and I saw a counciller and I feel alot better.
Keep your chin up and try to be positive I know it must be hard. I am a christian and I prayed alot to god, it helped me so much especially through the hard times.

God loves you and made you the way you are.
Hope this helps.
Just let me know if you need anyone to talk to.
Take care xx
