Not New...but Here's Me!
Posted: 01-22-04 14:48pm

My name is jennifer, 21 yr old mommy of 3 and insurance producer. I got preg with my 1st at 16 and had him at 17. My then bf, now hubby, and I were extremely happy! But I was a little scared, because here I was still in high school, living with my grandmother, and now I was a mommy (soon to be). The months went by pretty quickly, and before I knew it...He was almost here. I confronted my grandmother on the fact that mike and I were going to be married. She lost it, kicking me out on my 17th birthday! I got all my stuff and moved it into mike's grandmothers. 5 days later we went to get our marriage license and I tried to convince his grandmother that we were already married (i had promised my grandmother that I would wait at least a month to get married, so that I could make sure things were okay. But she found out ahead of time that we weren't so we got married 10 days after the license was done. Mikey was born a month and a half later...It was the happiest day of my life! I cried as soon as I saw him! We got preg with our 2nd when mikey was just 4 months old (zoe). So I finished school up and graduated when mikey was 11 mo old and I was 7 mo preg. I had zoe during the summer shortly after changing jobs. When zoe was 8 months old...I was preg, yet again, I had ghaleon when she was just 17 mo old and mikey was 2 1/2 yrs old. I stayed with the same job until ghaleon was 11 mo old and we were laid off. Thats when I started here, at insurance solutions, I got my insurance license july of last year, and we're super happy!

Sorry so long...Nice to meet, everyone!

To be 16 or 36 when all this began & to get through it & still be happy & together plus the miracle of 3 wonderful children, you really are blessed.

I hope that all family members on both sides have come to know not only your children but their amazing parents (oh that's you & your husband!!0

what do you plan for an encore????

Well, I took 25% ownership of insurance solutions concept, inc. On january 1, 2004, and will take full ownership the end of 2005! I plan to have one more baby...God willing. But we will plan for this one! And then we will buy our own home (or vice versa) which ever comes first!

Wow Wink Cool :p :d

you really seem to have your head on straight & I assume all is well with all 3 babies, it will be weird if you actually "plan" one!! :d

does your husband look after the 3 toddlers or what?? Don't tell me you both work!! How do either of you do it & stay together & i'm feeling pretty sure happy??

Ever thought of writing a book. Put your age in, but point out that if you two could do it then so can others who are supposedly wiser etc etc etc, all the stuff you were told you weren't which was why you wouldn't make it.

Love, babies & the will to live your life comes when it comes not because you're a certain age. That said though I do think that there are alot of young girls who get talked into sex & then end up pregnant with no support & I do wish there was more importance placed on a girl's right to say no. I told my 15 year old daughter that if the guy time & place are right, try & hold off for a day or so, get some protection & think, this will also tell you alot about the guy, if he doesn't care/respect you he won't want to wait, if he does care & respect you he will understand even if he's abit frustrated.

Never thought about a book. I just feel i'm a normal girl living a older life...Nothing special. I do what I do because it is what I chose to do. My children are my life, and my husband is my soul mate...I wouldn't have it any other way. It is good that you give your daughter values, and I respect the way you put it. I was just told "keep your pants on" and "men are dogs"...Didn't teach me much, just made me more curious. Thank you for your response!

And yes, mike stays home with the kids! All day, he's super daddy!

although i'm 28, I am still learning a whole lot about a womans body that I am still unaware of, so i'm sure in near future I will come up with a silliest question or concern. I just wanted to say that eventhough we women deal with alot of physical, sexual and lord knows what, what-not problems....It is no doubt a blessing to be a women, we are blessed with the opportunity to become more than just a women.
Lastly, although I have taken only one class with this women, but she for so many reasons became a person that I look up to in the world of medicine...My a & p 1 instructor, suzy mathis...She is more than just a teacher. I'm glad I joined this site...I'm new in austin and dont know many people here...So looking forward to make friends here....I know I talk to much...Sowwey Confused

Talk to you all soon...Bye now...
