I would be very surpised that you will be
able to get pregnant after stopping depo!
That caca is wrong and leaves women
infertile for upto 18 monhts...But you can
be an exception....When did you quit the
shot

Depo as in the jag in the bum?
If so well ive heard it can leave u
infertile
but I was on it for 3 years and when I
came off it I hadnt even got a pierod and
I fell prego.....
I think it just depends on how long you
were on it...
When I startd me doc told me it can cause
problems for up to 2 years after coming
off it,

Don't worry, it's perfectly normal for
your periods to be all over the place for
a while after coming off the depo. That
includes getting two periods close
together or not getting one at all for a
while! My periods were all over the
place after I came off it the first time
and I had been on it for a couple of
years. The second time I went on it for
only about 3 months and then I fell
pregnant within 3 months or so of stopping
it.
There is no scientific evidence that it
leaves you permanently infertile but it
can cause problems with conceiving for a
long time afterwards ie/ a year or so.
Like natzcee said, it depends how long
you've been on it.
Good luck!

Depo Posted: 09-07-06 10:44am
I was on depo for five years after I had
my first child. We wanted another baby so
I stopped getting the shot in dec.,
started a period in feb. And found out I
was pregnant in the month of march. Every
body is different :d
