Opk Dark Four Days In a Row? Posted: 09-07-06 11:51am
Hi all, this month I used an opk and I
noticed that the result line has been
darker than the test line for four days
now. What is going on, I thought that
the lh surge only lasted for a couple
hours....Mine seem to be lasting for days.
It has been darker than the result line
from since sep. 3rd., then sept 4 still
just a dark, sept 5 same thing, then
yesterday although the result line was
still darker than the test line it was
lighter than the previous days. What
does this mean cause right now I am very
confused.
For all those wondering, this is the
second month I have used opks, however
last month I stopped testing as soon as I
saw the darker result line, this month I
decided to keep on testing to see what
would happen.

thanks for responding I was beginning to
think that it was caused by some kind of
hormonal problems or something. At this
point of 9 months of trying I wouldn't be
so nieve to get my hopes up..
Oh and I didn't get to tell you in your
post because it was locked so
quickly....Your kids are beautiful!

Thank you. I really hope you are
pregnant. Let me know if/when your period
is late and you do a test.
Good luck!

Ovulation can vary from 2 to 3 days, and
ovulation testers normally alert u 1 day
before ovulation lh surge till 1 day
later......
Thus, u might be getting 3-4 days of
ovulation in an opk...
I too encountered such thing, then my
gynae explained.........
So good luck

So then is it safe to assume that I
ovulated somewhere inbetween those days?
