Fear of Ejaculation... Please Help!
Posted: 09-07-06 17:11pm

I am close to 27 years old. For the past 13-14 years, after every ejaculation there is a, let's just say "pain," or "strained fatigue" that is hard to pin point, exactly, but probably best described in the internal urethra or prostate region. Sounds possibly common, but this sensitivity does not like to hold any feeling of having to pee. In other words, it is most noticeable when an urge to urinate begins (not to mention always). So there is a frequency and urgency to urinate.

This sounds like prostatitis, or an enlarged prostate, I know...Nothing, different, but the odd thing is that this is not permanent. What gets rid of the symptoms is sleep, usually about 3 days. Then it feels normal again...Until the next ejaculation.

Sex, stimulation, etc. Is often avoided by me always because of the mysery that follows ejaculations. The most common way it happens is by nocturnal emission. I have noticed that the more stimulation, like after the first ejaculation, or the more physical the stimulation is, the worse the symptoms are. In other words, because there is no physical contact with wet dreams, those symptoms are the mildest.

I thought maybe that it is like a fatigued muscle (the more you use resistance to lift weights in weight training, the sorer the muscles become). It makes some sense, but pain relievers like ibuprofin or naproxum sodium do not help. Also, when having prostate exams, the pressure applied gives the same symptoms.

I have been to numerous urologists and basically they have said nothing is wrong. If it's not broke, don't fix it... But something feels not right and I want it fixed.

I have also had a varicoselectomy (veiny lump in the scrotum removed) only because I thought it may help or is connected (as one usually leaves them alone). It did nothing.

Any advice will help. Other than saying that it sounds like prostatitis, or something like that, I mean. Look closer...It's not permanent and three nights of sleep get rid of it. Do you know anyone who dreads and fears ejaculation?

I've never heard anyone else complain of this. I am quite jealous at this point and the anger is getting harder and harder to control and focus. I am jealous that everyone talks about and jokes about sex and has sex and takes it for granted. That's not normal.
