Hello everyone this is my first time on
the site, but as I was researching this
looks like the place to be with people
that welcome every one with warm
greetings!
But heres my problem, I am a 18 year old
in college, and yesterday when I handed my
girlfreind her birth control, I looked at
it...And I seen that she started her pills
on a monday instead of sunday. This is
her 5th month on the pill, but its weird
that she started it this month on a
monday. She cant explain why, she swears
she hasnt missed a pill, but it looks like
she had to sometime in the past. She just
got her period last week, and since she
started her new pack on monday she has
taken them at the right time...And
everyday....But I dont understand if I
should worry or what, "the pill" is the
only form of birth control I use, even
though I dont finish in her....But should
I be worried or what?

If she got her period you shouldnt' be
worried.But kowing that sometimes
forgetting to take it can
happen,you should use some sort of backup
birth control like a condom.It lessens the
chance

Yea I know, I do sometimes, but not most
of the time, I guess im just being
irresponsible...Lol...I have like 6 alarms
set to remind her if she forgets, so she
never really has forgotten. But im still
confused why she started this month on a
monday...Thank you!

how exactly do you know she skipped a
pill? Was there still a pill in the
sunday slot? If she started a day late
wouldn't that mean that she was a day
ahead of herself? Excuse me if I sound
dumb! Lol

actually what I was trying to figure out,
because I remember saturday and sunday she
took her pill...And then she was out of
pills for monday, so monday she got a new
pack...And has been taking them like she
has...So basically she started the pack on
a monday, and will end the pack on a
sunday...

well from what I ahve
heard its ok to start on a sunday .O.R a
monday after your period,so she's fine : )

her ended like 2 days before her pack was

The last week of pills are normally sugar
pills and it really doesnt matter wether
she takes those or not.
Also she could have missed a pill and took
it as soon as she remembered.
I think that you are in the safe zone, but
if ever you are in doubt always use a back
up form just incase
