Had My Baby!!!! Labour On Labour Day.... :p

Hey ladies!!! Well...This was unexpected
so soon ( at 37 weeks ) but heres the
story
on friday ( sept 1) I went to the doctor
for my regular check up at the doctors
office and I had high blood pressure so he
checked baby's heart beat and stuff and
did an ultrasound in the office and said
to go to the hospital rite aways cuz the
amonic flud in the uterus where the baby
is low. So I went to the maternity ward
and they tested me all out and decided to
do an ultrasound saturday. So I stayed
the night and had my ultrasound sat.
Morning and the doctor agreed that the
fluid in the uterus is low which isnt good
and the baby is smaller cuz the placenta
isnt doing its job to the baby cuz of my
high blood pressure. So the best thing to
do would be to get the baby out so he
could get what he needs to grow etc. So
sunday morning I was scheduled to be
induced by a cervidal.So I had the
cervidal and it worked, it definatly gave
me contractions and started me into
labour, but not into full labour. So they
said they would induce me again on monday
with either another cervidal or a drip .
So on monday morning they decided to give
me the drip and I went into labour..Hard
at 10am. The contractions were sooo
painful and I was in so much pain I didnt
know wat to do with myself. So I wanted
something to calm me down which it did but
definatly didnt take the pain away, so I
got a shot of morphine. Just b4 1:00 I
had the urge to push like there was no
tomorrow and so the nurse didnt even think
I was dialated yet at all! So she checked
and I was already fully dialated! So I
pushed!! 4 times I pushed within 8 min.
And he was out! So my labour was like 4
hrs really :p I was very lucky and yah!
He was 4 pounds 11 ounces. Small little
guy. I haven't had any pain or anything
since giving birth at all , not even
swollen or anything just 2 little stiches
so yay! We named him landon raymond
therres, and he has to be in a special
care nursery cuz hes small. He did really
good the first day of breast feeding and
the second day not so well, but is now
doing really well. He has jaundice tho.
And has been under this light to make it
go away. And today is my first night home
in a week. I have been feeding landon at
the hospital since he has been born every
3 hrs 24 hrs a day. And the nurses told
me to take the night off in my own bed and
sleep and just pump at home. So I feel
like I abandoned him tonight :( I dont
know why! Hes perfectly fine with all the
nurses. He is doing so good breast
feeding and now that he has jaundice and
is under lights its just really hard to be
away from him and for him not to be home.
And they say maybe he can go home tomorrow
or the next day if his jaundice level goes
down. And I cry frequently whenever I
think about him..But anyways, thot I would
just share, can't wait to have him
home!!!!
