Anyone Had Gallstones When They Are Pregnant? Posted: 09-11-06 10:00am
Just wondering , ive been thinking its
realy bad indigestion btu reading the
symptoms of gallstones they match alot
better. 3 times in the past month I get
this really bad pain that is at the top of
my pregnant belly lol it radiates to my
back but it hurt soooooo bad those 3 times
that I cant like move posotions to help it
at all, ive taken tums but it didnt help.
It hurts soo bad im in tears and I cant
even stand straight last week I got the
pain took tums it just got worse then I
took a pepcid but then I got naousous and
wound up throwing up but then the pain
subsided so im not sure if it could be
gallstones or indigestion cuz I cant
pinpoint a food that triggers it.

Greasy food will trigger it I never had it
being pregnant but I had mine taken out in
1997..It's very pain full if you eat
greasy food it will trigger it that how
you will know my sister ended up with it
when she was pregnant in 1997 after she
had baby they took her in and had them
taken out...How far along are you.. I
hope all goes well for you..Good luck

It sounds like gallstones is a
possibility. I had an attack while I was
pregnant, but I just didn't know that's
what it was until 3 months after I had
him. I really thought it was gastritis.
I would suggest that next time you
experience that again, go to the hospital!
Let them know that you read up on
gallstones and if you could be checked for
it. An u/s will detect it.
