Read my replies to the two post below this
one, it may help explain some of your
symptoms. Stopping the drinking and drug
is a good idea - you'v emanaged to
discover theat the best drugs are right
there in your brain already - trouble is,
you don't come down.
You'll probobly require medication, and
i'd suggest taking it - but the primary
managment strategy is to try to ignore it,
reduce it to background noise if possible
- engaging with what are essentially
unconscious processes can be frustrating
and endless, as they are essentially
symbolic processes rather than cognitive
ones - i.E., they only make sense in terms
of your sub/unconscious organizational
processes, which are extremely complex and
chaotic - this sort of processing usually
only comes to the surface in dreams.
In schizophrenia, your neurons are firing
in random and unpredictable patterns,
which can trigger these symboloic
processes in the waking state, as well as
memories, aural, holographic, even
olifactory - so it can get pretty
confusing, since these things are
appearing spontaneously, and completely
out of context to your conscious,
cognitive state.
Physical activity might help take your
mind off it if you can't concentrate on
anything else, and I strongly suggest
seeking professional help.
