I am an industrial design student at the
university of alberta. I'm doing research
on household products that could use an
innovative design especially for people
suffering from arthirits.
The product that I am assigned with is a
wine opener; so my question is, what types
of problems occur when trying to open a
bottle of wine with the conventional
opener?
Could anyone suggest some particular parts
during the opening process that aggrivates
pain the most (angle while opening,
twisting, gripping, pulling, etc)? And
where does the pain begin?
Your imput is greatly apreciated and very
useful for my problem statement. Thank
you very much for your time.
