R Urine Tests Accurate??? Posted: 09-17-06 04:10am
Hi....
I had unprotected sex over 3 weeks ago and
in the 1st 2 weeks I done a urine test
that came up negative.
Its now 3 weeks on since that night &
I now have sore breasts with a white kinda
milky sustance coming out. I then did
another test 2day wich then again cum up
negative. I am also putting on weight
& am going to the toilet alot more
then usual.
Is it possible for the test to be wrong?
Is it to early to get an accurate reading?

I would say that the sore breasts could
just be pms and the milky stuff you're
noticing not related. If you're thinking
that you're pregnant and lactating
already, that's quite unlikely. You
wouldn't see anything from your breasts
until the end of the pregnancy and then it
would be a golden colour--colostrum,
<unless> you've been pregnant before
and are still nursing or stopped nursing
quite recently. Same with the weight--if
you are pregnant, you're so early that
weight gain should be minimal--maybe a
pound or two at most--and only if you're
eating a whole lot more than usual!
Peeing alot could be a pregnancy symptom,
but also nerves (psychosomatic) or a
uti.
If you took the hpt in the first two weeks
after you think you could have conceived,
I would say that was too early for the
test to be accurate, but the more recent
one should be accurate. When were you
expecting your period, anyway?

A pregnant woman doesn't start to lactate
until near the end of pregnancy as far as
I know. If I were you I would go to the
doctors to get another test and a check up
