I had unprotected sex approximately 3
weeks after I was given the chemical
abortion pills (mifeprostol), and about a
week after the bleeding/spotting
stopped.
Is it possible to get pregnant during this
time?
What is the earliest time I can conduct a
home pregnancy test?

Hi there..
Yes you were at risk for pregnancy,
unfortunately it is difficult to time
ovulation after an abortion.
I actually became pregnant directly after
an abortion when I was using 'the
sponge'.. I cannot use hormonal birth
control, so I used barriers, and I became
pregnant. I did have another abortion.

The earliest you can take a home pregnancy
test is 14-16 days after you had sex..
But you need to take an early one..

Why did you have unprotected sex? Are
you now trying for a baby? Some women
find they become desperate to be pregnant
again after having an abortion and I
wondered if this was the case with you.
