Alright I made a topic before, sorry to
make one of the same sort but I have a few
questions. She's missed her period and
its been about 3 weeks, she gets sick
about 5 or more times a day, eats alot
more, breasts and vaginal area are both
sore and shes spotting blood...Are these
signs of her being pregnant? And she took
a test and it came out positive.

She got a positive test and you're still
wondering?
Your girlfriend is probably pregnant. If
she's bleeding, she might not be pregnant
for much longer. I'm not trying to scare
you, but she might be miscarrying. She
needs to see a doctor, especially if she's
spotting. Take her as soon as possible.
I would personally go to the .E.R, but
that's costly and .I'm not sure how much
money you have.
She needs medical treatment, one way or
another, and birth control if she's not
pregnant or is miscarrying.

If she's pregnant, she needs to stop
taking the pill. A positive pregnancy
test is a .V.E.R.Y good indication that
she is pregnant.
And any bleeding during pregnancy, while
it could be nothing, needs to be checked
out by a doctor. She could very well be
miscarrying, and she needs to be checked
to make sure. Some women bleed very
lightly when they miscarry, and others do
not bleed at all.
This is your girlfriend and possibly your
unborn child we're talking about. Please
play it safe and get her help. Better to
get it checked out and feel silly if it's
nothing than to have something go wrong
and feel badly because you decided not to
act.
I'm not trying to be mean. I honestly
want to help you and your girlfriend.
Please... If you love her, take care of
her and have her looked at by a medical
professional.

Well ultimately it's her body. There
could very well be nothing wrong with her,
and she could go on to deliver a healthy
baby. If she *is* having a miscarriage,
she needs medical help, but if she's
refusing to be seen... There's not that
much you can do about it besides try to
persuade her.
Do either of your parents know that
there's a possibility? Her parents might
have more influence over her seeking
treatment. Even if she's not miscarrying,
she needs to see a doctor to have
bloodwork drawn up and to be put on
vitamins. Every pregnant woman needs
prenatal care.
To answer your earlier question: sex is
quite healthy during pregnancy, unless the
doctor says otherwise. As long as you
both feel like it, go for it!
Good luck and keep us posted.

Her parents dont know at all, neither do
mine, were keepin it under wraps right now
until she takes another test and if it
comes out possitive she will tell them.
While im concerned, it seems shes not and
shes scared to go to the sex clinic cause
parental consent is needed.

yeah, telling parents is just a small
slither of responsibility you two will
have to face as new parents. When you
put it in perspective that for the next 18
years you are going to have to make grown
up responsible choices and have another
life depending on you, telling parents
doesn't really seem that big. I told
mine within a few weeks of finding out.
There are many clinics that won't disclose
information to your parents, and that you
don't need parental consent for. Also
you two could go see the school nurse or
counselor, who can give you information to
free clinics and such. Where do you
live?

you don't need parental consent to go to
free clinics in canada. Also health care
is free. You can get the ball rolling
without your parents. I set up my first
appointments at the womens clinic by
myself, and got a dr and everything by
myself. Also she could go to the
emergency room to check out the bleeding,
for free, because it's canada, if she has
her health card and stuff on her.

Sweet, I dunno ive been reading and
hearing alot how spottin is normal, and
she just started but its not alot
whatsoever. If she is pregnant, I really
do hope that the spottin is just a normal
symptom and it goes away and everything
goes extremely well, im actually really
stoked about having a son or daughter,
whether being 18 or not and still in high
school, ive seen myself mature to a new
level, I just want whats right for my gf.

Well then I think i'd try as much as
possible to get her to a doctor tomorrow,
don't just wait until it "goes away" I
know you're trying to talk her into it
already, but keep trying. Good luck.

Her and her parents are a little not so
cool with each other at the moment so what
I have planned is telling my mom first so
if any doctor or anything asks for
parental consent, my mom will do it with
no problem and we wont have to wait. And
another thing, she got grounded tonight
for a week and she lives like a half hour
walk from me so I mean were really riskin
things here..Should I be extremely worried
or just whenever I can get her to the
doctor as soon as possible I should take
up on that oppurtunity?

Ummmm I think you all just need to take
the bus to the doctors .T.O.M.O.R.R.O.W
(asap!!!) without your mom. Tell her
tonight or early tomorrow! The bleeding
could be [something] or it could be
[nothing] but it's better to be safe than
sorry. I understand what you're saying
about the parental consent, but tanya just
told you that you don't need it, so go as
soon as possible. You don't want to risk
something like this.

Spotting can be normal but it does need to
be ruled out by a dr, second off she will
loose the baby if she continues of the
birth control pill and she will need to go
through testing cause she didnt get off of
it asap.
Honestly not seeking a dr asap is pretty
immature, I understand you guys are
younger but if you be responsible/have sex
then you need to deal with everything else
that comes with it.
