So Sad Over Loss of Twins Posted: 09-18-06 13:01pm
Hi,
i feel like I am so alone. My husband is
wonderful but I feel like I just want to
runaway because I feel so much pain right
now. I was trying to conceive for 3
years when all of a sudden I took a test
and it came back positive. We were so
happy. I went to the doctors thinking I
was about 8-9 weeks along. He confirmed
that my uterus was measuring that but
wanted me to get an ultrasound to confirm
expected due date . So I did. To our
surprise we were told that there were 2
sacs. But I was only measuring 6 weeks 1
day. Both had a heartbeat. One was 133
but the other ones little heart was
beating real slow and she could not get a
reading. She advised me that the Dr.
Will want another sonogram in 2 weeks .
Those 2 weeks went so slow but I was
thinking positive even after reading bad
things about slow heartbeats. I prayed
constantly for my little baby with the
slow heart. Well my sonogram day finally
arrived and I was so nervous. I knew
something was wrong when she was not
saying anything and then the news came out
of her mouth... She saw neither heartbeat
now. My babies were gone. They quit
growing right after my last sonogram. I
had no bleeding or anything. Just cramps
which I was told was perfectly normal. I
am in such a depression that I cant get
out of. I cant do anything. I just want
to cry all day. I know that I should be
happy that it happened early but it still
doesnt take away the pain.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss
of your twins! I have had two
miscarriages and problems with 2 other
pregnancies where I had to get rid of them
as they were dying, I wanted to give up in
a way but yet I wanted to keep trying to
be positive, well I did quit trying and
that is when I ended up getting pregnant
and a couple of years later I had another
one, now they are both grown and on their
own and are doing great!
Have you and your hubby both have
physicals or did they have any answers to
why you lost them, you don't have to
answer if you do not want to but I know
that sometimes it helps to talk about it.
I know that a lot of times that 1st
pregnancies do in up in a miscarriage,
unfortunately.
I do wish you the best and if you decide
to become pregnant again, I hope your
pregnancy will be more positive for you
both! We are here for you!
Big hugs!

I'm so sorry, I had tears reading this.
It's horrible to loose one, but two, I
hope you and your husband dont give up, I
hope you keep trying and are able once
more.
I'll pray for you both.
