Can somebody please help me,
i am 16 years old and a few people have
told me that I may have bipolar
disorder.
Could someone please tell me what the
symptoms are.

I've looked through the symptoms and I
think that I recognise some of the manic
and depressive symptoms in myself
is there any other condition that these
conditions could relate to?

K im 17 im bi polar..My symptoms aree
-bigggg anger outbursts..Wher im like on
the floor pullin out my hair and bangin
against walls. Um feeling like life isnt
worth living, then getting extremely happy
n runnin around laffing at everythinggg
and just feelin like ur on top of the
world..Those are my main symptoms..But
since ive been on medication my extreme
happy is gone

Symptoms of the elevated mood stage of
bipolar disorder include an exaggerated
sense of confidence and well-being, racing
thoughts, excessive talking,
distractibility, increased desire for
pleasurable activity, decreased need for
sleep, impulsivity, irritability, and
impairment in judgment. The depressed
phase includes symptoms of sadness,
fatigue, pessimism, feelings of
helplessness, low self-esteem, and loss of
interest in life, possibly with thoughts
of suicide.
