I am not to sure until I go back to the
doctor how far along I am.. In the
begining of my pregnancy my baby was
measuring small.. But after this
ultrasound he was measuring about 34
weeks.. According to my previous
ultrasound I was 32 weeks. So he may
change my due date! We shall see I go
back in a week!

I have some birthing plans.. I am
currently in a prepared child birth class
that is offered in my area. I wanna try
and labor as much as possible at home ..
As hospitals are not my favorite place to
me and I am worried that I will slow down
the process... I also wanna have a
natural birth so long as I can with-stand
the pain.. The more natural you do it the
healtier it is.. So we shall see.. Maybe
these classes will help me out some! I
hope so!

I'm glad you're taking classes. An
informed mother is at her best when giving
birth.
I didn't have a plan, but managed to go
through childbirth with no medical
intervention.
It's not as painful as people make it out
to be. Just know that tensing up through
a contraction will do nothing but make the
baby go back up. My nurse coached me and
told me to "release the pain through your
toes" "make your body like jello and let
your body do it's job" and within 3 hours
of getting to the hospital, she was
here!
I laboured probably 7/8 hours at home. It
was great!!! I got to the hopital at 5pm
and I was 5cm.
I refused all medical intervention because
I wanted to be as natural as possible. So
I got no iv, or no epidural. Because of
that, they let me walk, swuat, sway, and
get into the shower while I was labouring.
I refused an episiotomy as I wanted to rip
naturally. She let me rip on my own and I
only needed one "running stich."

Birth is the most amazing thing i've ever
gone through in my life. In all of the 20
years I had lived until that point we're a
blur. All that mattered was my daughter!!
Her birthday is 8 days before mine!!

Yes, I wanna be as informed as possible so
I will have an idea on what to expect. My
boyfriend is also attending the classes
with me so he knows what to expect and can
coach me through it. On top of the
classes I do alot of research while at
home.. It has helped tremendously.
I watched my mom give birth to my little
sister which also helps a little knowing
what is going to happen.
Yes, I am having a little boy.. His name
is going to be connor michael.. Now the
waiting until its time is the part I am
having trouble with.. I want him here
now... But I know time will only make him
healthier...
