my doctors office called me today and told
me i need to take a blood test for h.i.v,
and looked up symptoms of h.iv online and
two of the symptoms were swollenn lymph
nodes on neck, and abomenal area, could i
be infected with h.i.v or is there a
chance that it could still be a minor
infections? please get back to me

Swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopaty) can
be a sign of one of many diseases...
either infective or non-infective. HIV is
only one of the many infective diseases
that can manifest with swollen lymph
nodes. In your case, an HIV-test can used
primarily for excluding HIV-infection or
AIDS.
