i was just wondering if you can help me i
attend the ivf clinic and i was told to
loose weight as i was over weight which i
have done a stone n a half.when i went
that last time he asked me if my periods
had changed i said no as they hadnt but
now they have last month they were really
heavy and i had to get some tablets from
my gp.now this month they havent shown up
as yet any way could you tell me if this
could be down to the weight loss.

Weight loss can cause neither heavy
periods nor loss of period (amenorrhea).
The reason for your infertility could also
be the reason for period irregularities.
