According to your symptoms (fear of dying and a “lump in the throat”) and considering the pre-existing condition (anxiety), you might be experiencing hypochondria. Hypochondria is a kind of neurotic disorder. A person diagnosed with hypochondria is occupied with sensations from the body and interprets them as symptoms of severe diseases. That’s why s/he often goes to many doctors searching for any disease. The red lumps in the armpits you notice occur after shaving are probably due to a hair follicle infection and probably have nothing to do with any cancer. You can ask for an expert opinion for the symptoms you are experiencing from a ENT-specialist, psychiatrist and dermatologist.
