Ok I am 3 months preg and last night I was
laying down and about ready to go to sleep
and all of a sudden I started to shake.
It felt like I was shaking from the inside
out...And I got really hot and headspin
dizzy. I went to the hospital and I had a
fever and my pulse was really high....They
had no clue what was wrong with me, my
hands were swollen and everything....So
nobody had a clue at all what it was then
all of a sudden the doc came back and said
"oh well we have had alot of people come
in with a fever being dizzy with swollen
hands and they had the shakes" should I
believe him? Sounds to me like he didnt
know what was wrong with me so he made
something up...He said it should be better
by moday and if not go straight to my
obgyn. This is also the same doc that I
went in before and had symptoms and he
didnt know what they were so he said
bronchitis was going around and gave me an
inhaler...Few days later I had my
gallbladder taken out because it was right
full of stones...Give me your op's.

How are you feeling now? If you are
still feeling unwell, it might be a good
idea to go back to the hospital. It does
sound as if the doctor might have been
fobbing you off a bit. Doesn't mean
there's necessarily anything for you to
worry about though.

No im still a little dizzy and still have
a low grade fever but he said that I might
still feel like this today and maybe even
tomorrow, but I just called my doc office
and they are not open on weekends and dont
even have an off hours service, I need to
switch docs I think....Who I had for my
son was awsome cause if I had a question
off hours they would let you leave a
message and someone would call back within
an hour or so.....I dunno

If in any doubt, go to the hospital.
Don't worry about being seen as 'making a
fuss' - you are just like every other
pregnant woman and are worried about your
baby! Go with your instinct. You know
best.

You need to get a second opinion.
Not often but occasionally women develop
preeclampsia early on which can be
detrimental to yuor health and the babys.
Go to a different hospital if possible..
Or even request a different Dr.

Ok thanks guys, I think ill go to another
city hospital tomorrow or go to my obgyn
first thing on monday I still have a
little fever but im sooo tired I cant stay
awake any longer and I just got my son to
bed so im gunna try to sleep it off now
