According to the data you report, (one
normal delivery and 1 year unable to
conceive) it seems that you are
experiencing secondary sterility. There
could be many causes for sterility for
both you and your husband, female and
male.
First, your husband has to be examined
because investigations for males are
simpler. It is just a matter of giving a
sperm sample. Then, sperm analyses are
performed. If his sperm is OK (based on
sperm count), then you should be examined.
In women, the situation is more
complicated and there are several
diagnostic procedures that might be done,
if necessary: hormonal analyses (FSH, LH,
estrogen, prolactin, progesterone,
testosterone, DHEA, thyroxin); vaginal
ultrasound; Pap and microbiological smear;
HSG, endoscopy, etc. Therapy will depend
upon the diagnosis. It doesn’t seem
likely that vitamins will help you.
