Q: No Sleep Last Night Aahhh

Last night was terrible. I went to bed at 11:30 p.M. Because I had slept until 12 noon the day before. I slept until 1:30 p.M. I had to pee, then I had to get up and sit in cold water because I have a terrible yeast infection (i can't take anything for it because the cream makes it 10 times worse). Then I had to pee again and again. Then I almost passed out a few times (see other post) so I was afraid to fall asleep. Then the baby had the hiccups on two seperate occasions between getting up to go pee. My husband got up at 4 for work, so I got up and ate breakfast with him. At 5:30 I went back to sleep. I managed to sleep until 7:30 until I woke up with restless leg syndrome. I freakin hate that! It felt like I had ants in my feet and ankles. So I tossed and turned (as much as I could considering i'm carrying around a large beach ball) and worried about where I was going to put her diaper stuff -- by the bassinet or in the bathroom? What the heck? Why was I worried about that? Sorry, i'm just venting. I hope I can sleep tonight.
Anyone know what to do about the restless leg thing?
Thanks!

Haha I know exactly what you mean about not being able to sleep bc your worrying about where to put things!! That always happens to me! Like I actually cannot get to sleep bc I don't know where to put all the babys things...Or how to arrange the nursery. Its insane that we actually lose sleep over this! <3

A friend of mine had the restless leg really bad. She said she would lie on the floor with her legs up on the couch - she said that was the only way she could get some sleep. Dont know how comfy it would be but you can only give it a go!

Oh man, sleeping was a chore at the end of pregnancy. I didn't use any pillows...Which I think I should have now that I think about it!! But on days when I would do bookoo, I would have to take a tylenol pm to help!

Talk to your doctor about this. Lack of sleep can cause slight problems towards the end of pregnancy. They say in the beginning you sleep a lot because the baby is forming and your brain puts out a hormone that causes you to sleep so the embryo can work its majic!!
The middle of pregnancy you get a burst of energy and have the pregnancy glow! Then the 3rd trimester...It's straight hell!!!! Hahahaha...I was miserableeee....But it was allll worth it!

Sleep sleep sleeep....I can't encourage it enough!!!!!!!!
I **still** nap when she naps!!!!!

yep, third trimester was pure hell ill vouch for that, I used to get really painful leg cramps/back pain with braxton hicks almost 24/7 and I was lucky to sleep cause I already had a toddler!!

After you have baby you will get to sleep so much better to a certain degree till they wake up for a feeding lol!

Thanks! I slept a little better last night but I wake up every 2 hours for no reason sometimes.
I slept 9 hours but still feel tired. I'm sick though, so that has something to do with it.

Whoa! don't confuse me like that!
I saw Betsy's post in Pregnancy and thought "How did I miss her announcement?! I thought she just tested!"
But I'm all right, the world's all wrong. Very Happy
