Work out daily during their pregnancy? I don't do much right now besides a bunch of walking during the day and soon it is going to be too cold for that. Before getting pregnant I would do an hour of cardio a day, either jogging outside or on an exercise bike (well sorta, it's flat on the ground and your legs stretch out in front of you) and I want to start doing that everyday for an hour(bike, not jogging). Would it be okay? I wouldn't over do it until I felt dizzy or anything.

My doc told me just to walk.. Heavy cardio isnt good for most people are are prego.. Even if you're used to it prior to pregnancy.

No weight lifting either.

yes. If your body is used to the movements, exercise is great while pregnant. There is no need to give any of it up. In the 3rd trimester you will need to slow it down a little and lighten up - but unless your doctor or your body says to stop, you are fine.

I was allowed to continue my workouts during pregnancy but was told during second trimester to lighten my load especially since I was loosing weight.

You can do stretches, yoga, pliates, certain work out machines (bike eliptical ect) I was just told to eat more of a full diet (canadas food guide lol) on top of vitamins and etc iron tablets!

I was told by my doctor that anything that I did regulerly before pregnancy I could do during my pregnancy. As long as you tone it down a bit then it should be fine. I was told to stop running and just to walk, I think as long as your body is used to the movements then it should be fine. Since I continued to walk during pregnancy I was able to start running again like I never stopped.
