Your "buttbone" hurt during pregnancy??
Mine hurts when I sit down and when I stand up from sitting and sometimes when I walk. It feels as if its bruised badly.

Could this possibly be from more blood flow? Its really annoying.
My only worry is maybe a blood clot. I really dont want to ask my doc just in case she wants me to show her my a$$ so she can look. That would be embarrassing.

Any body have any feedback??

During pregnancy, the 'buttbone' loosens a bit, which might cause the pain you're having. Not entirely sure, though.

Pain in your coccyx is very common in pregnancy. Its due to the pressure....Sometimes I get that pain and I try to move position as often as possible.

I've had this the whole way through my pregnancy. The physio at the hospital said to sit backwards on a chair at work - trust me it relieves the pressure heaps!!!!

I think that bone actually moves a little bit to make room. I would not be worried about it.
Btw: you are embarrassed about your butt from the ob? What about the other place she/he is looking all time? Lol

Ive heard it shifts only during labor to make room for the baby and its head..Not that it slowly starts to shift suring pregnancy.

Well your hip/pubic bones, during the last weeks of pregnancy, begin to shift so that when the day comes, they're easily shifted to allow for a vaginal deivery.

I had a problem with my .Ciatic nerve throughout my entire pregnancy. I had **shooting** pains up and down my entire left side from my mid back to the tips of my toes. She would move positions on the nerve, then it would suddenly switch to pain on the right side....It was *horrible*!!!

shes always down in my lower stomach. She hardley ever moves outta one spot. I thought girls are more likly to be higher but guess not. Sometimes I feel her kick the back side of my uterus and it feels like shes kicking my buttcheek lol. And sometimes she will kick what feels like maybe my cervix, well down there at it.

my little guy is pretty high and head down and I still get that weird "he's poking my cervix" feeling. I just can't figure out what it would be though since he is head down and I doubt his hands are over his head. Isn't it the weirdest feeling? I got it a lot around 23-26 weeks and then it went away completely and I was so glad. It started happening again around 32 weeks and now at 35 I still get it every now and again.
