Provera And Metformin Posted: 09-26-06 22:22pm
Hello,
well today I was told by my gyno that I
have pcos and that I have to start taking
provera for 10 days a month and that if I
want I can start taking metformin. If
anybody else has taken these can you offer
me any input about them? Such as the side
effects and if you were able to conceive
on them? I would appreciate it. I have
been looking up metformin on the net to
decide whether or not if I want to start
taking it. Thanks, any input would be
super:)

Hi there!! I currently take metformin
for my pcos as well as my diabetes. I
notice with myself that the metformin as
well as the glipizide I take for my
diabetes can c ause low blood sugar as
well as alittle dizziness with the higher
dosages. My specialist recommended the
metformin as soon as I was diagnosed with
the pcos. Good luck to you!
