Bleeding When Pooing
Posted: 09-27-06 06:03am

Hi there, hoping to get some advice. Hopfully theres nothing seriously wrong and maybe a cream or ointment will fix but here goes...

When pooing for the last 6-8 months it is excruciatingly painful and always after wiping there is blood on the toilet paper. After pooing it can be sore to walk and my underpants ar constantly getting blood skidmarks on them.

Please help. I dont really want to go see someone unless absolutely necessary.

Thanks

Seeing a doc is the only way to realise what this could be. Bleeding after bowel movements is not really normal and should be checked. I would say you have problems with hemorrhoids since it hurts and the blood is seen only on toilet paper. It could also be some kind of anal fisure that could have occured from constipation or anal sex.

Bloody stools are a reason for checking your gastrointestinal tract. If the waste is bloody, it means that there's some kind of an internal bleeding.

Blood on the toilet paper is no big deal.

Happens to everyone if you drink to much alcohol, eat spicy food or consume the wrong foods at the wrong time.

Probably just hemorrhoids, some people have these symptoms for decades and there is nothing wrong with them.

Just try to eat healthy, sleep well and reduce the stress in your life.

While you might not be able to completely eliminate the traces of blood in your stool. You can reduce it and see a change for the better.

Try eliminating (or sharply reducing) anything with caffeine or cheese as they constipate you. Eat foods that are high in fiber.
