My son is 8 years old and has a planters wart, is there a product I can get over the counter or does it have to be removed from a doctor?

Planter warts are caused by the Human Papiloma Virus (HPV). They are transmitted by direct contact. In people with normal immunity, they usually disappear spontaneously without treatment but people usually ask for medical help. It doesn’t seem right for me to take any medicine without a doctor’s examination and confirmation of the diagnosis and proposed proper treatment. It seems best to visit your family doctor and seek a professional opinion after an examination.
