I've found you about a month age and have been logging in to look up my symptoms in comparison to other peoples. It's always nice to know you are not alone. I was diagnosed 10 years ago, but have been fairly symptom free for 3 years, until recently.
I was most happy about the person, I don't recall who, who vibrated. Try describing this symptom to anyone and not getting a strange look.

I just wanted to introduce myself,

Good Vibrations Part 3
Posted: 01-26-04 17:44pm

Hi mia,
don't know if it was me you were referring to...Or a whole bunch of us. I have twitches, some others called it vibrations...As far as I can tell we were all talking about the same thing.

I still have the twitches and my doctor took me off of a medication for about two weeks to see if that was it...It wasn't. Another friend of mine has twitches all the time too and she said it's common with a lot of lupus people.

Anyway...I have a friend in tx who may be very near you who has lupus too, if you would like I can see if you both want to swap email addresses.

Hi clarebear,

i'd love to hear from someone here. My rheumy stopped taking my health insurance and I need to find someone new, maybe they have a good doctor. I'm having a horrible flare and need to see someone soon.

Do you have vision problems? I've been getting really dizzy, nauseous and lightheaded with red eyes and light sensitivity. My Dr. Wants me to see a neurologist also, but the doctors don't know everything about the crazy symptoms we get.

Thanks mia

Vision Problems
Posted: 01-29-04 14:37pm

Hi mia,

no, I don't currently have any vision problems. A lot of my symptoms are very very light compared to many of the other people on this forum. I have sle and have been diagnosed with it since 04/02. There is kidney involvement but after many chemo sessions (last one in march, coming up) my kidneys seem to be on the up-and-up.

The only real difficulty I have at the moment is the twitching, but it's not as bad as it was before the new year (probably because I got off my duff and started going to the gym).

I will private message my friend's email address to you.

Sorry I couldn't help with the eye problem thingy.
