I think all of us have come to the
conclusion that none of the creams out
there work. Theres nothing you can do
about stretch marks, its all about
genetics, they will fade on their own
eventually.

Nothing works....It is all in the
genes....Some get none and some get tons!!
Nothing anyone can do about it...You
can buy some palmers cocoa butter but that
only really sooths the itchiness from the
stretching and hydrates your skin ....

I use .Palmer's cocoa butter formula!
I've been using it since day 1.
I'm not sure if it will help with stretch
marks,
but it does wonders for my skin.
It makes it look really healthy &super
soft.

i would think that is genetic, my mom
really got none and I hope I will be the
same when I get pregnant. I mean this
is the only thing that scares me about
pregnancy, I do not want strechmarks. A
coworker of mine I saw her belly and I
almost faint when I saw her strecht marks
from her pregnancies. I mean if there
is plastic surgery available to get rid of
them I know for sure that I will be there
at the surgeon table.

stretchmarks from my pregnancy so grateful
for small mercies I suppose!

If they have quite elastic skin it'll
stretch easily without leaving marks..
Mine isn't, and I have old stretch marks
just from my body changing during
puberty.. But luckily I haven't got very
big during my pregnancy, and so far
haven't got any new ones.. Still got 9
weeks to go though, so we'll see!

It is all genetic but i've been using bio
oil and since using that my stretch marks
have faded heaps! You can buy it from
health places, chemists, kmart etc - it's
a lil expensive but it's working wonders
for me!

I haven't used anything and only have
marks on my breast and my thighs. My
belly is h.U.G.E. And people freak b/c I
don't have any stretch marks on it.

What about creams to fade them afterwards.
Someone told me they used something and
it worked wonders but I forget what it was

There's something here in the states
called mederma, but I don't know if it
actually works. I bought some but was too
impatient with it (takes about 6-8 months
to see results).
I have never been pregnant, but I get
stretch marks ridiculously easy. I have
them behind my knees, on my knees, insides
of my thighs, hips, butt, lower back, but
incredibly, none on my stomach. And i'm
by no means a heavy person. I got it from
my paternal grandmother (blast). Ahhh,
we'll see what happens when I finally do
get preggers... Lol.

I got some stretch marks during my
pregnancy but they are already fading.
You can't hardly see them. I didnt' use
anything but my normal moisture cream
while I was preggers. Now I dont really
use any. I dont' have a million little
stretchmarks I only have three that come
off the top of my belly button. It's
weird. I can tell you my baby is worth
the stretch marks.....I may never wear a 2
piece again...But that is ok.

I literally *destroyed* my body by gaining
too much weight.
The key to no stretch marks is do *not*
over eat. If you gain the correct amount
of weight, you should not obtain any.
My mom didn't get one with me and I look
like I got mauled by a wile animal....It's
horrible.
No cream will work to prevent or correct
stretch marks. Taking vitamin supplements
such as vit. A,e,c,&k will help
rejuvinate your skin faster than would
normally. Super .Vitamin .K stretch mark
cream will *help* diminsh the look, but it
will not completely heal them.
Nothing but extreeme treatments of
microdermabrasion will completely heal
your scars and totally diminish the
appearance.

I do believe part of it is genetics, butit
can be fought. Every female in my family
got stretch marks except me and my cousin.
We both used cocoa butter mixed with
vitamin e oil and before trying to
concieve and afterwards we used
stri-vectin. That is the miracle cream
right there. It isn't cheap to buy but
it is totally worth it. It will also
help fade any strecth marks that you do
get according to my best friend. =)
