Deafeating the Odds! Posted: 10-01-06 14:51pm
I have chronic progressive ms for 7 years
now, im 31. My head is full of ms
lesions, as the mri shows, and in my neck.
Two years ago I participated in a trial
of aggressive chemotherapy to try and stop
ms progression or stall it anyway. I have
defeated all odds so far with stretching
daily and excercising. Two years I am
relapse-free. I only take baclofen now.
No more needles, thank goodness!
My point here is, keep a positive attitude
along with daily excercise to keep your
muscles strong and you can fight this! I
still walk with a cane, right side still
is weaker, but latest mri in sept 06,
showed no progression!
I pray for another year with no relapses.
i lost all my hair, cried for days lol but
what price would you pay for years of
being relapse free. I know everyone is
different, and it really sucks having
ppms. I've been through the worst of
times with it, and am two years with the
best!
