Anxiety & Stress After Long-term Marijauana Usage. Posted: 10-02-06 13:26pm
Hey, i'm 20 years old and i'm having some
problems. I smoked marijuana and
experienced other drugs for about a 2 and
a half year span regularly. I decided to
quit due to some side effects and just
getting tired of it. But after I quit
i've experienced anxiety and stress, and
some slight depression ever since. I
find it hard to be sociable and i'm having
some other worries too. For about a year
now i've been dealing with this, right
after I quit things were much worse and I
don't know how i'm where i'm at today..
But I use to have anxiety attacks every
night. Then there was sort of this phase
where I didn't feel conscious or alive
really during all parts of the day. I'm
back at school now and hanging out with
old friends and starting to get my life
back. But once in a while it will come
back(the anxiety/nervousness). I find
that alcohol or taking any kind of drug
even extra strengh tylenol brings it back.
Some major symptoms are headaches,
confusion, shortness of breathe, noodle
legs, stomach cramps and bloating, and
tightness in my throat and in some areas
of my heart. I'm wondering if anyone out
there is experiencing this or has
experienced it, or if anyone has any
advice.. Hope to see some responses..
Thanks.

I've experienced it all.
Still is, it's a year since I got my first
panic attack, which ended in a severe
panic disorder.
I was a wreck for months, felt dead but I
managed.
Just manage, i'm getting back to my life
now, don't listen to the people who say
"you shouldn't have done drugs you'll
never have your old life back"
it's proven marijuana doesn't change
anything permanently.
The trick is to tell yourself "f*ck this!
I'm going to live my life to the fullest"
and actually do it.
I've read a lot of "success stories" of
people experience the same thing and got
their life back.
Just know in your heart and your mind
theres nothing wrong with you and you
will have your life back.
Keep living all day and you'll get it back
