Hi ladies:

i was just wandering how long it took you to conceive after stopping taking the birth control pill? I really want to get pregnant and have been off the pill for one month now. We did try this last month, but were unsuccessful. My husband is in the army and is going to iraq at the end of next year, and we want to have a baby before he goes. We are a little pinched for time, so I am just crossing my fingers. I am 21 years old and have been on the pill for 2 years. He is 23. Also, my periods were irregular sometimes before I went on the pill. Do you think this will cause problems with me getting pregnant now? Thank you so much. I really appreciate any input or advice that you may have. Thank you!

Best regards.

Wow!!!
Your story was just like me and my husbands. I'm 21 and he is 23 and he is in the army also. Lol that is funny. I was on the pill for 5 years and we got pregnant 5months after I got off the pill but I had a miscarriage with that baby. Then we waited for 5months and I got pregnant the second month of trying. Now i'm 25weeks pregnant. It really is just with the person, dont get stressed and look up your ovulation calender on the internet it helps alot. The first time I got pregnant was when I used it and the second time I used it I got pregnant. I think it is babycenter that is the one that I used.

dont bother with the checking your temp or buying those high priced ovulation charts. This works just fine.

Good luck and have fun with it!!!!

It took me 7 months to conceive after the pill with my first child, and it only took 4 months to conceive after the pill with this pregnancy.
