Ok this is kinda long and complicated, but one of my good friends is in a rut and needs your help!

Ok first off, i'm almost 12 wks preg myself, but i'm not too sure on what my friend should do....


She's had protected sex(condom) a few times from december 26th up until the first couple weeks of january....She's felt like something has been up with her body so she started worrying about the possibility of her being preg...She was due to get her period between saturday the 24th and monday(today) the 26th...She hasnt gotten it....*but, on january 20th-21st she had bleeding which she thought may have been her period, but it doesnt make sense because she usually doesnt get it until between her 28th & 30th days..And the days she bled were her 24th & 25th days...And they usually last between 3-5(max) days..And she's normally regular, and when she's not she's only a few days late...But never that early....But this time she only bled for 2 days....She took 2 hpts but they came back negative...Still wasnt satisfied so she took an ept...The line thats supposed to show up to indicate that the test works didnt show up right away, so she figured it was defective and put it in her drawer(she didnt wait the 3 mins)...She woke up the next morning and remembered the test and looked at it just for sh*ts and giggles...There was a faint positive line..She's taken hpt's before and has them all(cant throw them out in her house) and none of the other tests show a different result other than what she read after the 3 mins....Now I know you're not supposed to read the results after a certain amount of time, but somebody else indicated to me on the other forum that there won't be a positive result unless there is levels of hcg found...Wouldn't the hpt give a false negative, rather than a false positive?....Of course she freaked out and called me, so I told her to take another test....She took a 1st response, another ept, and 3 clear blue tests(shes xtremely paranoid as u can tell lol)....And they all came back negative...Now if she is indeed pregnant she def wouldnt be far along at all, which would mean her hcg levels wouldnt be that high...I did some research for her online about all these hpts and it said that most hpts test from 50-100mi's or whatever unit it is of the hcg hormone....She wouldnt have that much in her system yet...And the hpts that test from 25mi's and up werent any of the ones she used....Shes been feeling dizzy/fatigued and nauseous and has been getting headaches....Also has been urinating frequently....Based on what I have given, do you think there's a possibility that she could indeed be pregnant? She is going to have her mom call the gyno to make an appt...But she feels "stupid" telling the dr all of this because of how many hpts she's gotten....But she just has that *feeling*...If anyone can help her out i'd really appreciate it!
