I have
been suffering for almost 3 years with
severe pain in my xyphoid/thorasic spine
area. I am taking narcotics to get
through each day. Without them the pain
is so bad I can't even stand it. It is
terrible. I have had test after test.
Small things (i think) are wrong but
nothing is fitting into a nice little neat
box and diagnosis is elusive. The knowns
are this: hyperparathyroidism,
nondiabetic hypoglycemia, high calcium,
vitamin d okay, spells of narcoplepsy,
osteoporosis, hysterectomy in 1986 because
of endometriosis and adenomyosis, kidney
stones, kidney cyst, weight loss (now
starting to put some weight back on), and
that is about it. I'm at the end of my
rope and want my life back. If this is
my life the way it is right now, I don't
want it any more.
Can anyone think of anything that might
put these small symptoms together to come
up with some new ideas? My pcp says I
need a research doctor to help me and look
at each of the small symptoms to figure
out the big picture. But, that is almost
impossible to find someone who can spend
that much time on one patient. I have
been searching on my own, but i'm not very
good at it and I have not been able to
find much.
Please help me!!!!!
