Late Or Miscarriage....??? Posted: 01-26-04 12:53pm
Hi there,
this is new for me. I don't usually post
information on the internet but thought
i'd give it a try! I am a mother of 2
healthy boys and have never had a problem
conceiving - always been lucky with the
first try. I have also always had a very
regular period. Never been late, etc.
I was/am positive that I was pregnant
again (the home test came up very light,
but apparently that still indicates a
level of the hcg hormone). Have had the
usual symptoms, nausea, tired, etc. Was
about to make an appt with my doctor today
(since i'm 10 days late and have had
symptoms of being pregnant) to be
sure..... When I started bleeding.
Since i'm only 10 days late (therefore
would only be in my 6th week of pregnancy
- 4 wks gestational) i'm suspecting that I
have either had an early miscarriage or
for some crazy reason am just late with my
period. This seems abnormal to me though
due to my history. Any thoughts ladies?
Is it medically possible to still find
out if I "was" pregnant? Thanks in
advance.

Hi there.Iam having a very bad day
today~~why
well I had last gotten my period on dec 3
I had what I think was the implantation
bleeding jan 3 no period I took a hpt 6
days later was neg.
2 days later I did another it was a very
faint line~~i was sure I was
had all the pregnancy signs had a doc appt
this week.
We have been trying for over 2 years.We
were so excited!!!
Well taday I have bad cramps and now I
have my period really bad.
I called my doctor in tears and figures I
miscarried.
He wanted me to come in to test my hg
levels becuse that will still show up
but we are having terrible weather so I
won't beable to go in
so yes it is still possible to know it has
to be within 24 to 48 hours of a possible
miscarriage from what my doctor said.I
have a hard time
getting pregnant but my doc said usally
the faintest line is still positive.
So I hope for you you will be okay.I am
having a hard day.I know there
is a lot out there who experiance this so
I think what you are going threw
is normal.

Hey there - i'm so sorry to hear about
your day. I can only imagine how you're
feeling since you still have not had any
luck conceiving for the past 2 years. I
feel extremely lucky to have my two boys.
I am definitely feeling different with
this period though, so maybe I will check
with my doctor today.....But I understand
the weather situation since we are in the
same boat up here!
Have you talked to your doctor about a
fertility specialist? Maybe you and your
husband should both get checked out just
in case. Sometimes it's just a matter of
an internal infection (this happened to a
friend of mine) and once they had the
antibiotics they got pregnant fairly
quickly following. Anyhow, good luck,
