hi, this is my
first time posting here. I just turned
41, but for the last 2 months or so ive
been waking up extremly hot not sweating
really, just feels like im burning up with
a fever. For the last couple of years my
period has been really light and short
sometimes only 3 days. I have also
gained alot of excess weight around my
middle section and I workout 3 times a
week. I have never missed a period and I
am usually bang on every 28 to 29 days but
not this month I am now 1 week late at
what age do you start missing periods or
do they just become irregular. Im really
stressing right now. I really hope im
not pregant.

If you take a pregnancy test, you'll know
if you are pregnant or not. Are you
having unprotected sex?
It could also be perimenopause, the odd
ball time leading up to menopause that can
last for a decade. This is the time when
our bodies go through major changes.
Weight gain. Wonky periods. Night
sweats.
Just like when we start our periods as
teenagers, there is no 'set' age on when
we'll start going through the 'change'.
This sounds a lot like what you are going
through.
However, if you are having unprotected
sex, there is a possibility you could be
pregnant.
