Q: Pregnancy Pains

My girlfriend is always complaining about a sharp, stabbing pain under the left side of her rib cage, roughly the same area as her heart. At her last appointment, the ultrasound, we found out that she's approximatly 21-25 weeks along. Is this normal, or is it something to be majorly concerned about?
