Ok I dont know much about this stuff and I
hope noone thinks im weird for asking this
but I want to get on birth control and
when you go to the doctor what do they do
there? Do you just get the pills and
thats it? Or do you have to have like
blood drawn or any tests? Please help..

Usually they will give you other options
besides the pills, i.E nuvaring, patch,
shot, etc... Do a pap, find out family
history such as b/p problems, kidney
disease, heart disease, etc... But
usually no blood tests. Good luck.

I doubt they would give a blood test..
They just need to know everything like how
the person above me said, and ask
questions if you smoke blah blah stuff
like that just mostly alot of questions

They will do a pap though. If you feel
more comfortable and don't want parents to
know or whatever the case may be you can
