Pregnancy or something else? Posted: 10-07-06 09:19am
I have and IUD, so I don't think I could
be pregant. I am a very active person but
the last week I have had cramping, nausua,
headache, and dizziness. I have been
pregnant before and this feels alot like
it except for the cramping and headaches.
I am wondering is there any other thinkgs
I should look at before considering I am
pregant. I have been tested for thyroid
and low sugar, they were both negative.
Please pass me some advise..

You can exclude or confirm a pregnancy in
a very simple way: by taking a home
pregnancy test. The symptoms you mention
(cramping, nausea, headache, dizziness…)
are common in many conditions and they are
not evidence enough to diagnose any
particular disease. You can visit your GP
(general practitioner or family doctor)
for further examinations to identify the
cause(s) of your symptoms such as a
physical examination, standard blood
analyzes with sedimentation, and an
abdominal ultrasound.
