Headaches and Eye Disorder...why is eye pulling toward the c Posted: 10-07-06 11:19am
What could be the cause of these
symptoms-
1.Thunderclap headache
2.Eye involuntarily pulling to the center,
like 1 eye crossing by itself.
3.White spot/disruption in vision, like a
picture with flash was just taken but the
flash doesn't go away.
4.After initial thunderclap headache, head
still hurts upon exertion like exercise.
These things happened to my sister, she
has a history of migraine. She is 27, has
kidney problems/1 kidney, normal weight
and blood pressure. Unfortunately she is
out of the country in a place where health
care is not very good, so none of the
doctors could help or run tests. The most
odd symptom is the eye pulling toward the
center. Any ideas? Thank you!

According to your sister’s symptoms
(involuntary eye movement, headache,
disturbed vision…) she definitely has to
be examined by an ophthalmologist and a
neurologist. I don’t want to speculate
about the possible causes (eye or brain
problem) without further diagnostic
procedures. She will need to request a
complete eye check (vision, eye movements,
campus, eye bottom…), complete
neurological status (especially eye-moving
cranial nerves and muscles), and a CT-scan
of the head.
