Hmm.. R the tests the same brand? I found firstresponse to be the best brand.. But yes.. I would wait one more week to test again. Sometimes when people are pregnant, their pregnancy hormone is too light to detect for a while. It is possible to get false negatives...Very seldom do u get false positives.. Rarely ever~ goodluck*

I had the same thing. I was taking the same brand test over and over again and couldn't figure out why I wasn't having my period. Finally I went and bought a more sensitive test, the kind that you can test 5 days before your period is even due and they both came out positive so I retested again and they were positive again. I suggest you buy a more sensitive test and try it again in 2 or 3 days. Good luck!

You could always go to your doctor and request a blood test. Some women may never test positive with an hpt, but they will test positive with a blood test.

I had the same thing happen. Last month (last cycle) I had my period but it was only brown spotting. I got my 'period' 1/4 and I took a test a few days ago and it was negative. I'm guessing my body was just really screwed up because i've taken plenty of tests and different kinds of tests (including fred) so I don't think it's possible to be pregnant (i would be 6 weeks) and not get a positive. Maybe you are though. If not, baby dust!
