Birth Control And Breast Feeding Posted: 10-10-06 11:20am
Hey ladies! I have an appointment in a
few weeks with my doc. To check me out
from labour and landon will be 8 weeks
old. Hehe, anyways, I was wondernig if
its possible to be on a birth control
while breast feeding. I heard u cant be
on birth control ( like the pill) and
breast feed at the same time. So just
wanted to see wat you ladies know about
it. Thanks

I was told that as long as I was breast
feeding I shouldn't be put on anything
with hormones. I have the iud thingie up
there and it's been good so far. I am
not having sex right now but I wanted to
be on something so that when I do find
that someone I won't have to worry about
birthcontrol. You know?

My doc gave me a prescription for pill
that you can take while breastfeeding,
however .I didn't get it filled and can't
remember the name. So, .I do know there
is something out there that is safe. She
used it while breastfeeding her kids as
well.
