Trouble Ttc #2

For 3 months, my husband and I are trying desperately to conceive. This will be baby #2 for us but no luck has come our way. Baby #1 was a surprise to us. This time around I am monitoring my bbt, cm, cervix, and using opk's to help us conceive faster. It's been heartbreaking, esp. For me. I thought I was definately pregnant this month. I ovulated on the 25th and I just felt pregnant: nausea, back pain, fatigue, mood swings, increase cm. Bleeding gums. I also missed my period yesterday. But this morning I had light pink bleeding when I wiped. Now it's more of a dark brown color and still very light. The pregnancy test that I took says not pregnant. I have read about implantation bleeding. Some sites say it's not common and the stories I have read contraindicates that. When should I retest?

Retest whenever you want. But 3 months trying is hardly "trouble trying to conceive". It takes a healthy couple on average 6 months-1 year to conceive. Have patience, you already have one child so you know you can get pregnant.

I had implantation about 5 days after my expected period.

Some people do have implantation, and some don't.

If you don't get a "full blown" period. Wait a couple of days and test again. It might have been to early. Your levels might not be high enough.

Like she said, you know you can have children as you already have one. Just relax and *enjoy* making another one!!
