How far along were you with your second or third child when you started to show? With my first I was nearly 5 months before I started to show but with this pregnancy it's starting much much earlier and I was curious to see how far along everyone else was.

With my first 2 I was probably 3 1/2-4 months. With this pregnancy I started probably around 3 months.

How far along are you?

I'm only around 7 weeks i'm guessing. I don't think it's possible that i'm any further along than that. My stomach is already getting hard and rounding out right above my pubic bone. Oh my, maybe it's twins!

Extremely eHealthy
When I was pregnant with my son I was about 20 weeks before I really started showing. I didn't' carry him to term but I blew up like a cow with pre-eclamsia and gained 30 lbs in about 4 days with water retention.

Now with my daughter I was about 8-12 weeks before I started showing and people at work kept asking if I was pregnant and I was really mad because I wasn't ready to tell people I was preggers yet. I wanted to get past the crutual stage.

so did you tell them no? I would have.

Why is it when you have already had kids, you show more with the following pregnancies? I thought it would take longer to show since there is already that extra skin and stuff. . .(no offense to anyone Laughing )

I think its cause your skin has already streached out before and has a easier time streaching out the next time

I think it's your tummy muscles.. The first time you have a baby they're not used to stretching so it takes longer to happen.. With subsequent babies it's quicker because they're used to doing it and stretch more easily.
