Respond Its Very Important Posted: 10-13-06 14:52pm
A year ago I had a horrible anxiety attack
where I thought I was going to go crazy
after that I felt super depressed for 2
months and then snaped out of it, I felt
ok after I snaped out of my depression for
about 4 months but I had another wierd
anxeity attack but I learnt how to control
it. Everytime I have those anxiety attcks
I feel very very strange in the morning,
like edgy or kind of like crazy. For the
last couple of months i've been thinking
about the bad times ive had and its
putting a fear inside me that I might go
crazy., im having images in my mind about
going crazy. Just a month ago I felt very
very edgy like I would hear things and
check with ppl, sometimes when im sleeping
I will sort of hear my thoughts out loud
and that scares me. I also see things at
the corner of my eye im not sure if its
real or not, its sort of like a light or a
flash or somthing. I have put myself in a
weird state of mind im constanly
overthinking about wierd things like how
small we are compare to the universe and
just about how weird reality is and how
the mind works. My doctor siad its a
panic disorder I feel its somthing worse.
Someone please reply anyone! Oh and I had
to family members pass away in the last 5
years and a couple of good friends if that
will matter why im feeling like this

I don't think you are crazy just in need
of a good long holiday... The thing with
mind problems is - except for
anti-depressant, the only thing that would
help you is yourself... If it's any
consolation, I do talk when I sleep and
sometimes I tend to say things in my mind
before I realize it... Try to do
something that can keep your mind occupied
for sometime...
Life is not as hard as you think... And
things happen for a reason, you might not
understand why but eventually you
will...
Take care...

I'm pretty sure I know what this is and
it's not panic disorder. Please read
your private messages.

I Can't Look At My Email Posted: 10-16-06 04:24am
My email is not active right now, my file
cookies aren't opening so it wont let me
open. Anyways just respond through this
im intrested to hear your theory on what I
have. I've explained the hearing my
thoughs out loud in my sleep to a friend
and she siad she sometimes hears her
thoughts too. I don't constanly hear
thoughts only like 2 times over the year,
and my friend will see some things at the
corner of her eye as well and she's
perfectly normal. After I heard that I
felt relieved and it has gone away but I
always feel wierd and edgy I think it
might be gad I have no family history with
schizo or anything major like that. It
might be dp/dr. I thought about
depression but im able to play my sports
and go out. Please respon on this forum
thanks

Hey i've recently developed this. My
physicist (very good) is 100% it's anxiety
and I am perfectly fit and healthy. I
know how it feels but you have to remain
an actor of the drama in your life instead
of an observer of everything that's going
on. This means grasp for opportunities to
keep your mind off this stuff, you need
not think of things like this, look around
you... They aren't so why should you? I
know life is very complex and hard to
understand but keep your mind on other
things, things that you enjoy and im
hoping that it'll just drift away. It
just has to! You're not going crazy,
people who do are unaware of their journey
towards mental illness. The fact that
your concious of the unpleasant way you
are feeling and that you can still go out
and do things you want to leads me to
believe that really, you know it's just
anxiety, maybe sub-conciously but I bet
like me there are times when it goes off,
i.E when i'm with my friends etc. If you
are extremely concerned about your
condition it's best to go back to your
doctor. I hope this reassures you
somewhat.
All the best,
james

Thanks Alot For Replying Posted: 10-16-06 19:34pm
Thanks for replying its hard to get
replys. Anyways yah some days I do feel
normal but others I feel like outof touch
with reality.. Like things don't seem
real. The little things that I see
sometimes are probably real im just so
edgy that any little thing I will see at
the corner of my eye sort of scares me.
My anxiety attacks are gone now, its just
my mind thats scrambled, ive been doing
energy healings and its been really
helping. But can anxiety lead me to feel
wierd and sort of crazy? And I am
starting university in 2 weeks from now
and i've been really stressing on how im
going to make it through......But maybe it
will take things off my mind.....
Thanks for replying and if you have any
other things to say that would be awsome!

Oh yeah definatley, infact the unreality
feeling is extremely common in anxiety
conditions but believe it or not is a
completely normal reaction to hightened
states of anxiety/stress and is nothing
more than an altered state of mind. It's
probably a mild form of
depersonalization/derealization and does
pass in time. Get on with your daily
routine, and don't pay it any attention,
it will go away - maybe even without you
noticing! I'm glad that the energy
healings are helping, and i'm sure that
once you settle into university you will
have a lot more things on your mind, more
important than worrying about how you're
feeling all day!!
Best of luck,
james

anxiety lead you to hear your thoughs out
loud? I havn't heard them talk to me or
anything major like that, just twice in
the last year I have heard my thought
speek out loud for a splait second. Sorry
for bugging you again I just need some
answers

I cannot answer that question simply
because I do not know. However, I do know
that repetitive thinking or incessant
‘mind chatter’ is a symptom of
anxiety. Please remember that it's always
best to get a professional opinion of a
doctor or a person in the medical field.
I'm just telling you what I know; once you
have a definate diagnosis from a medical
professional and more sinister causes have
been ruled out should you feel 99%
positive it's anxiety. That said, I hope
my posts provide the reassurance you need.
Best wishes,
james

I had a really similar experience. Except
everyday I feel out of it now. I posted
my story before I read this one but I know
how you are feeling. Im stilll struggling
to understand how anxiety and stress can
cause this. I feel like one day I was
fine and then I snapped and now im
struggling to keep my sanity. Anyways my
doctor also this was just due to anxiety.
Hes the doctor so im hoping that he knows
what hes talking about. Good luck and
just try realize that when you come out of
this you are going to be way stronger than
you ever were before.
