Quit Smoking: How long before I notice the positive impact o Posted: 10-13-06 15:54pm
Hello there.
I have recently started taking a series of
vitamins in the hopes of regaining some of
the health i've lost from smoking. I
recently quit, and only just started
taking my vitamins about two days ago.
I know not to expect results so
instantaneously, but I was hoping someone
might be able to give me some idea as to
how long it takes to notice some sort of
difference, on average. As well, what
specifically each vitamin is going to be
affecting.
All of the vitamins that I am taking are
genestra brands vitamins, which I have
been told is a good quality vitamin (any
comments on this is appreciated!)
multi efa capsules (essential fatty acids
complex),
maxum multi vite (vitamin-mineral
supplement)
phyto greerns capsules (a means for
getting those vegetable nutrients I don't
get through my diet)
e400 emulsified (400 iu vitamin e)
super cal mag (calcium-magnesium
supplement)
c1000 (vitamin c complex + bioflavonoids)
i am able to give more specific
breakdowns, if necessary, but perhaps the
previous information will be enough to
gain some comments.
Any personal experiences with these
vitamins or this brand are very welcomed
and appreciated!

If you have not been diagnosed with a
disease caused by lack of vitamins, then
you probably won’t feel anything
spectacular from these supplements. In
addition, you can’t overcome the bad
impact from smoking by taking extra
vitamins and minerals. The best thing you
can do about the damage caused by smoking
is to quit smoking. A healthy person who
consumes various types of food, especially
fresh fruits and vegetables, does not need
extra vitamins and minerals in normal
conditions. Extra vitamins and minerals
may be necessary during special occasions
like pregnancy, breastfeeding, sports
activities, treatment for obesity, etc.
