Please Someone... What Do I Do? Posted: 10-13-06 21:36pm
I'll be 19 on the 18th of this month.
This is my second pregnancy. Sadly, my
first ended in miscarriage this past
april. I'm about 7 weeks now, just as far
as I was last time, and like last time, I
started to spot today. I have painful
cramps. I didn't really tell anyone about
this pregnancy, especially not my parents
(i live with them) because I didn't want
to have to tell them all I lost another
baby... But what do I do now? I am in so
much pain and I don't think I can deal
with another miscarriage. It's just not
fair. What are the chances that i'm
having another one? If I do, will I ever
be able to carry a baby?

Have you been to a doctor yet? If not,
you should go and see one now. They would
be able to advise you how you could keep
the baby (i.E. Drinking medicines) and
maybe advise you how you can prevent
having a miscarriage next time.
Don't be ashamed. And try to relax. The
stress would not help you. A lot of
people do undergo several miscarriages
before they were able to have one in full
term. Some of the drugs that would help
in keeping the baby can even cause some
abnormality to a child.
Please just see a doctor as soon as you
can, not only for baby's sake but also for
yours.

Well, it happened. Again. I am so mad!
It's just not fair. I don't care that i'm
only 19... I still loved my baby and I
wanted her, and I loved my other baby and
wanted him to. I can't even get tests to
see if I can have kids at all until I have
at least 3 miscarriages... So pretty
much, I have to go through all this again
before I can even find out. I hate it.

next time you get pregnant, get your doc
to check your progestrone levels (dont
know the exact spelling). Thats sometimes
the reason for repeatly miscarriages.
Because some women just dont produce
enough. So next time you find out your
pregnant, try to get to the doc soon
afterwards. If he dont want to check or
see you that soon. I would get another
doctor. Thats just my opinion. I know
how it feels to have a miscarriage and I
know it hurts alot.

Okay get this... I started bleeding on
october 13th. I assumed I was having a
miscarriage and went on with my life. I
didn't bother to go to the hospital or the
doctors because they literally did nothing
for me last time. Now, its november 16th.
My cycle is 28 days long all the time, so
I should have gotten a period on november
10th, but it still hasn't come. I'm
wondering if I really had a miscarriage or
not. For my first one, I bled for nearly
2 months. 3 days of bleeding doesn't make
much sense to me. I don't have any period
cramps or any of my normal pms symptoms,
but i've been having nausea spells the
past couple weeks and sore breasts...
Could there be a chance that i'm still
pregnant?!

You really need to go to the doctor or
health clinic and have a test. It really
sounds like you are still pregnant and it
is entirely possible to bleed a little
during pregnancy-especially at the
beginning. I hope it works out okay!

Please get checked out by a doctor
hunni.
As the other poster said - low
progesterone can be a factor of
miscarriages and also a weak cervix which
can be helped by the doctor putting what
they call an cerclage around the cervix.
