Lol. Its quite sad actually because where
I originally come from in north england
people will give candy and money to kids.
Down here in london though nobody answers
the door. They are really un- child
friendly down here in the city

Thanks girls! Like I posted on the teen
preg. Forum- lots of people say they look
alike. They have the same skin tone/ hair
and eye colour. Here's a pic of them
togteher:
courtney is half italian and layla is half
portuguese.

Yes, they do look somewhat alike, it must
seem strange having a sister 17 years
younger but it happens! Hallooween is
sooo much different then what it used to
be, peole are too afraid this day and age
to open their doors and a lot of the candy
is cut with drugs, they put razor blades
in the apples, it is gitting scarry! I
love to see the little ones though! I
used to like dressing up even when I was
working. It looks like you will have your
hands full!

sandy, are you in the .U.S? If so, where
(if you don't want to answer you certainly
don't have to) as a child I always went
trick-or-treating in my town, which was
small and everyone knew everyone
else....So it was very safe (but my
parents still went through all our loot to
check it out)
and even now it's pretty good, but the
town I live in now....I wouldn't let my
child eat anything she got from here. Not
because it's a bad town, but it's bigger
and I don't know many people....So I can't
trust them! I haven't heard of any of
that stuff happening near me, but that
doesn't mean it hasn't happened. It's
just too bad anyone would want to harm
another person, let alone a child!!
Kia, what's halloween like in the .U.K?

it's been trashed.
Kids go round putting dog poop or petrol
bombs in letter boxes as "tricks"
no-one wants to open their doors because
those who give treats usually get tricks
too.
It's sad and a total shame.
But quite a few people have halloween
parties and hide candy (like easter egg
hunt) for the kids to make it safer.

Mandoi-- thats actually a common
occurance... Livingin areas like orlando,
brooklyn, chicago.. Big metro areas.. It
happens.
There was a big thing a few years ago
about this man putting acid (the drug) on
the sticky side of stickers and handing
them out to kids for halloween.. There
was also a bunch of people lacing apples
and candy with drugs and cyonide. (my mom
made us for years check our candy after we
came home for pin holes and such that
could have been made by a needle injecting
something.)
yeah psycho's are everywhere.

That is a good idea to have a party. I
went to a smaller school when I was
younger and they had kindergarden thru 8th
grade, we had like a carnival. Maybe you
can get enough people together to have
like a block or mile party in your area,
bob for apples and all of the ole
fashioned stuff because sometimes it is so
cold you don't want to go out or just go
trick or treating where the rich people
live(generally safer there. You can
sometimes go to the hospital and get the
candy xray but it probably will not show
if it has been laced with something toxic
but if in doubt you might think of buying
some candy from the store and exchanging
it with what they got.
Oh yes, I live in the .U.S.A.

I think all those halloween poison candy
and razor blades stories are all urban
legends. Though it's still a good idea
to look over your kids' candy and not let
them eat anything unwrapped or homemade.
Halloween is my absolute favorite! I
love it!

I agree with you to a certain point, I
dressed up being an adult and I love
seeing the cute little kids and I used to
enjoy working at the school carnivals but
their are some that like to try to ruin it
for others and I am not hee to argue or
look for a fight, I have worked at
hospitals and have seen it happen.
All the best!
