Probably some non-registered person doing it over and over to be annoying.

I don't think it should count if they didn't post a reason why!

You do see quite a few people popping up now and again saying they are lurkers usually just viewing posts but never replying, then they make the odd post here and there. Must be those. I dunno about the chat forum, cos then another section will need to be added? I dont see why the pregnancy part cant just be changed to 'pregnancy and chat' or 'pregnancy and parenting' so everyone can post here, not in another section. Its a good idea if we can chat about other stuff tho!

I'd personally like to see a chat room more than a chat forum.

A chat room would be much better. I don't really see the point in a chat forum. Everyone posts here anyway but i'm gonna vote yes cause my friends did! Lol

Yes, but you won't be able to "chat" in the q&a forum when it all gets updated.

Besides from personal experience people don't use chat rooms anyway Sad

Because the q&a will be just q&a, so that people who just want to ask a question can do that.
The idea of a chat forum is that the "off topic" doesn't become and issue.

The two forums as they stand are really "teen pregnancy" and "pregnancy questions" a lot of what gets posted is off topic in the strictest sense.

So the idea is that there is a q&a forum (questions and answers only) and then the pregnancy/parenting/lifestyle/chat forum where you can post pics, talk about kids, recipes, etc.

Chat posted in the q&a would be moved over to chat but questions posted in chat would not be moved the other way (because we heard ya when you said "we want to be able to ask the people we trust").

a chat post wrote:

blah blah, went to the park, took pics [enter 10 (or however many lol) pics here], tired now, bump was wriggling lots etc etc

a q&a post wrote:

i'm 34 weeks and bump isn't moving much, is this normal or do you think I should go to the er?

this is to help people find answers to questions.
Remember a lot of people are lurkers, they come for an answer and never sign up, or they just sign up, read a few posts and disappear.
